Abstract:
The Automatic Pump ON/OFF Based on Fire DIY Science STEM Kit is a unique educational and automation solution. Using a flame sensor, LM393 comparator IC, and a relay, this kit ensures quick fire detection and automatic water pump activation. Perfect for electronics enthusiasts, students, and professionals, the system is designed for ease of use and reliability.

Applications:
This kit addresses the need for affordable, effective fire detection systems. With its efficient design using a flame sensor and minimal components, it’s ideal for automation, robotics, and educational projects. The system activates the water pump when fire is detected, ensuring safety and efficient functionality.

Features:

  • Reliable Fire Detection: Uses a flame sensor and LM393 IC for accurate fire detection.
  • Automatic Pump Activation: Activates the water pump instantly upon fire detection.
  • Ease of Assembly: Comes with detailed manuals, circuit diagrams, and YouTube tutorials.
  • 100% Tested for Quality: Every unit is assembled and thoroughly tested before shipping.
  • Compact and Cost-Effective: Designed for Indian conditions, offering affordability without compromising performance.

How It Works:
The system operates on a 5V DC power supply. The flame sensor detects fire intensity, and the LM393 comparator processes the input. In the absence of fire, the pump remains off. When fire is detected, the system activates the water pump, maintaining safety until the fire is extinguished.

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Read the manual and study the provided circuit diagram.
  2. Identify all components and solder them onto the PCB following the schematic.
  3. Ensure correct polarity for diodes and capacitors.
  4. Test the system using a 5V DC power supply. Adjust sensitivity using the R2 variable resistor.
  5. Install the unit securely, such as on a room ceiling.

Package Includes:

  • Pre-soldered PCB with components
  • Flame sensor, relay, and pump
  • Circuit diagrams, PCB layout, and testing guide
  • USB power cable
  • YouTube video tutorials

IC Used:

  • LM393: A dual differential comparator IC, known for its reliability and versatility in automation circuits.

Key Applications:
Widely used in educational experiments, fire detection systems, and automation projects.
